My love for education began long before I stepped into a classroom as a professional. As a young student, I found joy in tutoring others — watching their eyes light up when something finally made sense. I didn’t realize it at the time, but those small, powerful moments were quietly shaping my future.
That early spark led me to study Education at Boise State University. From there, my journey has taken me through public schools, homeschool programs, online learning environments, and nearly every grade level imaginable. Along the way, I pursued training in Special Education, ESL, and Psychology — each deepening my understanding of the beautifully diverse ways children learn and experience the world.
Today, as a Deputy Head of School and Director of Special Education, I have the privilege of walking alongside students who need a little more support and families who want the very best for their children. I spend my days collaborating with teachers, listening closely to parents, and ensuring that every child feels truly seen, understood, and valued.
This work humbles me, inspires me, and continually reminds me why I chose this path.
