Dr Vinod Tyagi is a Consultant Paediatrician in the NHS and private sectors. He worked at various hospitals in UK with children/adolescents and their carers for 20 years. He has extensive clinical experience in the assessment and management of a wide range of neurodevelopmental disorders and general paediatrics. Dr Tyagi runs specialist epilepsy clinics for children with complex epilepsy in a special needs school and also address their complex neurodevelopmental needs. Dr Tyagi is the named doctor for safeguarding for Children and Adults at his NHS Trust, supporting safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children. He also provides safeguarding supervision to colleagues and work with external agencies to develop multi-professional and multi-agency approaches to safeguarding services and for children and adults. Dr Tyagi is also an undergraduate tutor and actively involved in teaching and training junior doctors.
Dr Tyagi completed his post graduate training in the London Deanery. During his Paediatric training, he worked in internationally renowned institutions, including Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) King College Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital (Imperial) where he gained a very broad experience in a wide range of complex neurodisability, neurodevelopmental and neurological disorders.
