Dr. Sonia is a GP specialising in children’s health. She is experienced in all aspects of Child Health and School Health. She earned her postgraduate Diploma in Child Health in 2010.

Dr. Sonia has worked as a School Doctor for various public and private schools. She was a member of the UK Medical Officers for School Association (MOSA) in 2020. Her work in schools involves Immunisation, learning disabilities, developmental delays, medical checkups, child protection, safeguarding and training.

Dr. Sonia was an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from 2010-2020 and is now a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine in the US. She is also a WHO/UNICEF Assessor and has audited various hospitals in the accreditation of UNICEF Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sonia has contributed to the community through involvement with various charities including those dealing with refugees, stateless children and education.
