Dr Susan Ozer is a Consultant Neurodevelopment/Community Paediatrician and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Specialist working in the National Health Service (NHS) in Hertfordshire UK. She is the Clinical Lead for children with ADHD in her Organization. She is the published author (under former name Yarney) of a number of fact/fiction books for children and young people with developmental issues.

 

Dr Ozer has vast experience in assessing and managing children with Autism Spectrum disorders, general learning, sleep and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She has participated on several national advisory boards, presented papers at international conferences and is regularly invited to speak on neurodevelopmental issues at local, regional and national conferences. Dr Ozer has been invited by BBC radio Cambridgeshire to give talks on various neurodevelopmental topics.

 

A sleep tool to help professionals and parents conduct a more effective sleep assessment and hygiene recently developed by Dr Ozer has had wide regional and national circulation. She’s also the author of her NHS organization’s ADHD website www.addmore.org.uk.

 

Dr Ozer is passionate about raising the profile of children/young people with developmental and mental health issues affecting learning in schools and hopes to achieve this through education/information, publishing and writing.
